On Tuesday night I got to volunteer at the NOFX/Alkaline Trio concert at UCR. ASPB events are always fun. I enjoy the punk rock concerts the most, only because I have always been fond of punk rockers and their style. Their wardrobes are highly complicated and full of bling, leather, and leopard skin (Gucci could never top it). They also have an added six to eight pounds of pierced plastic and metal around their bodies. I think they have the strongest lips and eyelids around. Their hair is also very high maintenance and they do the works: the braids, the spikes, the fantastic colors, and the occassional patches of stars, words, leopard spots, self portraits, you name it. The amount of gel/hairspray/mouse in their hair could sustain a plastic airplane model and their spikes could drill holes into good sheets of wood. You could use them to build tables. And with all those studs and hair, if you accidently bump into them, you could get hurt, they're like walking pipe bombs. Oh and you may hurt them too. All those piercings make their face, ears, and nipples make them highly sensative (I always am careful when I hug them).
Anyway, as I worked the ticket line, what was great was watching punk rock mom and dads bring in their little four and five year olds and watching the security guards search and pat them down. I also got to work security at the emergency exits, and little high school girls will do anything to get in. For the first time, it felt really good turning down kisses and money. Dirty dirty.
I also love this new webiste subservientchicken.com He does everything you ask it to do. I don't know how people find these jobs. Yes, those are couch cushions below.
