Copy and Pasted Response >:(

Dear McDonalds,

Upon NBA superstar's Tracy Mcgrady's performance against the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday night, I think it would be such a great, creative ploy to rename a sandwich after him calling it the T-Mac.

He scored 13 points in 35 seconds and won the game for his team. It was incredible.

Or at least do it in Houston. For a week. Or even a day. He deserves an acknowledgement.

I know McDonald's is not sponsoring him and the business of endorsements is difficult but if you need a new face for McDonald's, consider Tracy Mcgrady. With T-Mac's street cred, incredible leadership and talent, imagine: "We put the Mac in T-Mac." "T-Mac is lovin' it."

I appreciate your time for reading this letter and hope that this may spark something at your headquarters. I hope to taste the new T-McFlurry very soon.

Sincerely,
Joshua Chang

Response:
Hello Joshua:

Thank you for contacting McDonald's recently with your idea for a product or service that you believe would be of interest to us. We appreciate your interest in McDonald's, but it is our company's policy not to consider unsolicited ideas from outside the McDonald's system.

It's not that great ideas cannot come from people outside of McDonald's. Each year, however, McDonald's receives thousands of unsolicited ideas and proposals for products and services from individuals as well as companies. Because of the volume of unsolicited ideas and the difficulty of sorting out what is truly a "new" idea as opposed to a concept that has already been considered or developed by McDonald's, we must adhere to a strict policy of not reviewing any unsolicited ideas that come from outside the McDonald's family of employees, franchisees and approved suppliers. We realize that we may be missing out on a few good ideas, but we have had to adopt this policy for legal and business reasons.

As a result, we must decline your invitation to review your submission and hope you understand the reasons for this decision.

Again, thank you for thinking of McDonald's.

Just Imagine the Ruckus

UCLA played onnne heck of a game.
But did you watch the first half? Oh man, if only those dumb refs didn't call out of bounds on that fumble that was clearly in; the Bruins would have ran that back for a touchdown and the USC Trojans would have been very screwed. VERY screwed. But it would make the BCS system happy.

Riverside needs a football program again.

And they have to stop playing college football on finals weekend. Or I need to stop watching..
